you know you're a baseball fan when....

these are in my brothers' room.

they get the bats (usually broken.. sometimes not, though) from local minor league baseball games. some of those balls are from the same games + ones they've had over the years.

they have a bunch of other bats (ones they use during games) & baseballs downstairs too.... crazy boys.

VIDEOS

2002-03 Round 4/Game7: Postgame in the Parking Lot

Just a little more amateur home video of the scene in the Continental Airlines Arena parking lot after the Devils' 2003 Stanley Cup win! By this time I was soooo tired, lol. But I enjoyed walking around the lot and seeing the fans celebrate in their own way. We eventually drove away as is seen at the end of the video back to my cousin's house. She offered a play to sleep to me for the night, but I politely declined as I had to work the next day. That was a mistake. I was ok until I got to the first major highway, but I blacked out for a second or two a few times on the drive back. I was lucky that it was so early in the morning when I left(I don't remember what time exactly), that there weren't many other cars on the road. I went to work the next day feeling really great! But I soon found out I had a penance to pay for missing the previous day's game! During the home team's batting practice I had to stand out behind the screen behind 2nd base and corral all the baseballs tossed in to me by the outfielders, and then carry them in a bucket, when needed, to the BP pitcher at the mound. Not a horrible penance, but I didn't have a glove with me, lol. Luckily they took it easy and didn't fire them in to me!
